MUSIC LESSONS
We currently offer lessons in violin, piano, and guitar. Our lessons happen in your home, we come to you!
Lessons are offered at $5-10 for a 30-40 minute lesson. This is less than half of the usual cost! Students are encouraged to volunteer and participate at Saturday events in addition to or supplementing these fees. Lessons and payment plans are arranged on a case-by-case basis.
GLEE CLUB!
This fall, CMI started its very own Glee Club led by Gabe Gordon! The class provides the opportunity for participants ages 11-14 to work in a smaller team, build musical skills, and have a great time with a fabulous instructor. Students are learning to present a well-rounded performance including excellent singing, movement, and presentation - using music they love.
The class is $8 for North End residents ($1 per class) and $40 for non-residents ($5 per class). Glee Club will run Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 at the NEAT office (654 Main Street) during October and November. The final performance of the Glee Club will be December 3rd - mark your calendars!
If you know someone age 11-14 who loves singing and dancing and would like to try performing - call now to register! New session begins THIS MONDAY, January 23rd. Glee Club meets Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30.
GET INVOLVED
CMI always needs volunteers. At Saturday events, we need hosts, child supervisors, and lunch organizers. We also need performers to share a quick song, story, joke, or tune with the group. Please contact us if you are interested. This is a great way to support your community and have fun while you do it!
We also welcome donations, please email emily@neatmiddletown.org for more information.
